Teenage Driver’s Ed Class Schedules

Give Your Teen The Safest Possible Start On The Road!

Our high-quality program for teenagers consists of 30 hours of in-class instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The behind-the-wheel instruction takes place after the classroom instruction is completed and the driver has obtained their permit.

Teenagers who are at least 14 years and 6 months of age may start to take these courses.

Classes are held at various locations in Fort Collins and Loveland. The 30-hour in-person classroom sessions are organized in this manner:

• Saturday-only classes are held from 9 am – 3:30 pm for 5 Saturdays in a row. (Held only during the school year)
• Sunday-only classes are held from 9 am – 3:30 pm for 5 Sundays in a row (Held only during the school year)
• Christmas Break classes are held based on Fort Collins & Loveland School District break schedules. Students may complete the in-person 30-hour classroom portion of our course in five days. (Typically Mon-Fri)
• Spring Break classes are held based on Fort Collins & Loveland School District break schedules. Students may complete the in-person 30-hour classroom portion of our course in five days. (Typically Mon-Fri)
• Summer classes are designed to help students complete their driver’s education during their summer break. Students may complete the 30-hour classroom portion of our course in five days. (Typically Mon-Fri).

After the classroom portions are completed, and the student turns 15 and has their Colorado Permit, students then take the behind-the-wheel portion of the course. They do not occur at the same time.
