Driver’s Ed Home Study Program

Students may now take the classroom portion of the driving program in the comfort of their own home and at their own pace if they prefer.

They will receive a copy of the classroom lectures and discussions on flash drive, and all workbooks with quizzes, log sheets, and the Colorado Driver’s Handbook, to read through and complete at home. When they have finished, they will return these materials to the office for grading.

Once complete, this will be submitted to the State of Colorado, and at age 15 they will be able to get their Colorado Permit. Once they have their permit, they may then take the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

We highly recommend completing this 6-hour training soon after getting the permit, as the best habits are learned early.
